One Hour of Night (En Timme Natt)

This performance with text by Göran Fröst and music by among others De Falla, Pärt, Britten and Fröst is an original idea by Göran Fröst. Its performed by Göran Fröst together with guitarist Jacob Kellerman. The performance also features installations by Irish artist Alannah Robins. It takes place in a room with no light and the text and music forms a continuum that reaches the listener in the dark. At a few points a spare light goes on and reveals the installation by Alannah Robins. The reviews after the premiere spring 2018 were overwhelming and all performances were sold out. It’s being repremiered 2020 and will also be on tour around Sweden 2020-2021.
